Mother’s Day

I look forward to Mother’s Day every year because I just love how fun that day ends up being every year! My husband usually works but he always takes the day off and I think it’s SO sweet of him. He told me I could get my nails done or whatever, but I really just wanted to go out as a family. We started off having such a nice service at Glennwood Community Church. I just have to say that I love smaller churches. The ones without a stage and funky lights like we’re watching a concert, that is! Our pastor is so amazing, he’s so real and will tell the whole truth no matter if we get offended or not. The bible is the bible, and truth is truth!

Afterwards, we had brunch at IHOP! I didn’t really eat that big of a breakfast so I had to eat big during this time lol! Country steak and gravy, thanks very much. The kids has their silver pancakes with eggs and little Mimi had chicken tenders with tons of hash browns!

We live near a park with Biking trail, river, and playground so we decided to ride our bikes afterwards. It was so fun and amazing! Keilani rode her bike ALL throughout and was so proud of it. In the beginning she asked for training wheels to be put on, but I knew she didn’t need it. She was just worried she couldn’t do it. But of course….. Lol, she is a pro bike rider. That crazy girl! We also stopped by the river so the kids can take a break and throw rocks!

When your jaw is stuck from trying to smile for pictures! ?
It was such an eventful and fun day. Every mom know that being a mom, you are always busy. Your breaks are short and you literally cannot eat without being interrupted. Lol!To end this lovely flashback of my mom’s day, I ask you, how was your Mother’s Day this year? Till next time!
