Our First Visit To Disney California Adventure

disneyland

What a wonderful time it is when we vacation with our children. It’s joy, its wonder, and it’s magic! On our second Disneyland visit, we hopped on over to California Adventure to have a what seemed to be a more relaxed Disney visit. Speaking of visits, we found Mickey! Since we were super prepared with our Autograph books, the kids was able to receive a few autographs from their favorite Disney characters! I have to say though, Mimi only wanted a picture with Minnie Mouse. If it’s not Minnie Mouse, there will be a frown! Ha!

Goofy is the goofiest of them all but he is looking pretty dapper that day! Keilani and Ezekiel loved meeting each character while Mimi is clearly not amused. By the way, this day was SUPER hot and I was so glad everyone was dressed properly for this hot California weather! After our little meet up with Goofy, I wanted to go ahead and get ready to stand in line for Frozen Live. I don’t know what it is I was feeling, but somehow this show was a must for all of us to see. My heart was tugging at my sleeves to make sure this needs to happen! The show was around noon and we started to line up at 11!

There were so, so many people in line but I was so glad we were one of the “first” ones in line. When I say first, I meant like the 80th in line or something! It was dreadfully hot, and boy, were we all sweating in line, but mama over here is always prepared and I somehow had an umbrella in my Jujube BRB backpack. With the uncomfortable heat hour wait outside for this show, looking back at this time… it was so worth it. The show was amazing beyond anything I ever expected a show could be. The whole room was the stage! Amazing, amazing, and I want to go back again, again, and again! A must see!

Minnie mouse is the most spunky, beautiful spirit in this Disney world of ours. She greeted our kids with a kiss which delighted my girls. Mimi, who was eager to meet Minnie… her eyes lit up like the moon and the smiles was shining through! Yes, I know… this picture does not do justice over her “unamused” expression in the precious picture, but there is no frown at least!

Flo’s Cafe in Radiator Springs is one of my favorite diners to take a little break and refuel! Oh, the foods are so comforting and it totally satisfied all our hungry tummies. My husband had the BBQ ribs, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The two older kids had their favorite mac & cheese, chocolate milk, and apples while Mimi and I shared the best tasting Grilled Rotissirie chicken with vegetables in the world. It was so moist, tasty, and so filling. She actually ate most of meal which I’m actually surprised! Of course, mama had to go back and get some turkey dip with the pasta salad. We stayed at Flo’s cafe for a while to rest and wait for the sun to chill off a little bit. It was such a nice lunch!

My boys looking super handsome in Cars Land! Ezekiel was most impressed and in disbelief he’s actually in Radiator Springs. He is a CARS boy just like his dad and I’m so happy to see his big smiles!

Everyrhing about this place is amazing and so, so real!

World of colors is another amazing show we saw that day. Honestly, I feel so lucky that we had such a great visit! This was such a nice ending to our day. We experienced much more than this post could ever tell, but everything was just so perfect. Disneyland California Adventure… we are going back!
There would be no Radiator Springs without some cars racing! Although we found the switch rider pass trick a little too late on our Disney visits, we actually used it at the most perfect attraction ever. This line was so long and it actually puts the fast pass name to shame as it was NOT fast, haha. My husband and the two older kids went ahead first while I stayed back with little Mimi. We walked around Bug’s Land and went back to ride her favorite caterpillar ride. After we went back to meet with them, I was hesitant to go because of the long line but after seeing the faces of my two kids… YEAH, I’m going. Lol. The kids was actually able to go twice with the same number of fast passes we had because we used the switch rider thing. My husbands car lost, but mama’s car won!!! It’s the magic of the mama bear and her cubs.

My kids about ready to experience the time of their life at the end of this night. We just had one more attraction to attend to…
