Since we put our house on the market, we have been in and out of the house a lot! We need to at least leave our home for an hour for a showing... But what happens when we have more than one showing in a day? We literally have to be out for hours, especially if there's a gap in time between showings. There is no way we will let these crazy kids go in the house and destroy everything, HAHA.
First off, we went to the mall to buy my mom some makeup stuff so my auntie can bring them to Indonesia when she visits her and my pops. I did sneak in an eyebrow pencil or two for me because really there is never enough since those things go so quick. By the way, my new favorite Starbucks drink is the coconut milk mocha macchiato. it is so delicious I can't even fathom. The kids had some frappucino and Mileina had one of their juice drinks I can't remember what. The funny thing is I don't even know why we get her flavored drinks because she loves water and ends up not drinking what we get her. What a water lover! It's good though, I'll never have to worry about cavities.
This is the utmost beautiful view besides Mcmenamins restaurant in south Vancouver. This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants here, not only because the food, which is just mouth watering types of dishes, but also because it's just a sweet experience to dine with the family overlooking a beautiful river. It's so soothing for me I can't really describe the feeling. There is a long sidewalk and we love talking a short (or long) walks here after dinner is finished. You cannot eat at this restaurant and just leave... HAVE to at least take a walk, yeah? Also, don't forget to try their beer called hammerhead I believe? I'm pretty picky about my beer, I don't care what you say I will not drink piss tasting beverage. This one though, at this restaurant, is JUST. So. Good.
There is a short "hike" down some rocks to reach the beach area. Depending on the tide, sometimes you can walk on the sands and just enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves. We actually walked a little farther and reached an area for the kids to throw rocks into the water. I wish I could've taken more pictures but I was just too drawn in and had enjoy the moment! But here is a little girl that over accessorized herself with her tokidoki headband, bunny necklace, and her newfound messenger donutellas sweet shop purse that is housing her owl and cat dolls.
Selling a home takes dedication, patience, and hard work.... But at times we can sneak in a little fun in the midst of it all. Have a house showing? Eat at Mcmenamins! Haha. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, hope you enjoyed our little family outing. Until next time!
