I have been on a color frenzy lately, and I thought I would try an eye makeup look using pink. I use all my bright colors from urban decay electric palette because I honestly am amazed at the pigmentation. Anyway, I used the color Savage from the palette with red brick and coral from Mac cosmetics to give a gradient effect towards the inner corner of the eye.
Initially I thought I was going for a fresh spring eye makeup look, but it ended up being more bold. Well, not more bold because bright colors are already bold to begin with, but I guess what I meant is it turned to be a dark makeup look with a pop of color. I accidentally used too dark of a transition color from the Kat Von D shade and light eye palette, I should've used the lighter brown in the palette but I ended up really liking it because the dark brown does make it more wearable. One thing I have to mention though, with bright colors I find that using a pencil brush to blend the colors together work best. It's small, but very dense so that you have more control at what you're working with. Note that I didn't want to over blend the colors so the colors are still bright, so a pencil brush does the trick!
I finished the look with House of Lashes in Iconic and too faced melted in Sugar mixed with a little of the melted Chihuahua. I promise, I did not melt any chihuahuas for the desired lip color!
