This is my first purchase ever for this gorgeous and lovely Urban Decay Afterglow blush in Score! I actually got three samples in a previous Sephora purchase in the color score, quickie, and bittersweet. I immediately fell in love with Score since it is a peachy pink! I usually don't go for blushes with shimmer but it's actually really great for those times in a rush where you want something to glow, just skip the highlight! It's so subtle but noticeable. This shade is just a winner for me! Although I have no clue why it swatches more pink, when in reality on the cheeks it the peachyness is apparent!
Another thing I love about it is that these blushes are buildable, so there is no room for error. I own a couple of blushes where the pigment is very very opaque! Although it is hard to gauge how much I'll be putting on my cheeks, it's also a good way of saving money since you won't be using a lot, haha! But that's at the expense of maybe making yourself looking like a clown. So all the beginners who aren't sure how much to put, these are great blushes! I do have to warn for some of the brighter colors those you need to use a very light hand! More subtle blushes such as score, fetish, indecent, and some others are very buildable and safe!
When I was reading reviews of this blush, it had an average rating and I never understood why! It didn't go on patchy, the shimmers never separated from the base color. I had already tried the blush and then went to read reviews and was just surprised by the review! Oh not so! I suggest you should try it personally, because it's not one to miss.
The reason why I deducted a rating is because it didn't have a mirror and even though the gunmetal packaging is very pretty, it leaves so many fingerprints and the prettiness of the packaging soon looks like it needs Windex! Overall, I love urban decay's blush! it is talc free and it's safe for our acne prone skin. With that said, I need to get my hands on Rapture and Fetish!
