I was first introduced to Too Faced by their lovely fuschia melted lipstick that was included in Sephora's lip favorites in 2013. I used to never be such a makeup addict until this particular moment, sure I had a palette and a couple Mac lipsticks but nothing like this! I was so impressed with the melted lipstick that I went to the too faced website and bought 5 more.... Yes, FIVE! After that I just kept adding on. The particular formula is very comfortable on the lips but oh my gosh, they're so opaque! When they came out with the chocolates, uh you know your girl here bought those with the quickness!
During Ulta's 21 days of beauty deal I was lucky enough (thanks for being a stay at home mom) to be able to get four of the lip drenched lip creme. My ultimate favorite shade is pink chocolate, so weird how I love anything chocolatey. Does anyone know that my face serum is called Chocolate Karat Serum? Yeah, don't even ask about my lotions... Or perfume. Alright back to the subject, these particular lipsticks are more like a very tinted lip balm they're super duper hydrating. I go for these for the everyday fresh look that I love to present as a busy stay at home mom who wants to look somewhat put together without too much contrast in the face!
Next is the Born This Way foundation... How do they create something like this? I'm combination oily and I understand this is on the hydrating side but it allows me to use the smallest pinch amount while covering every single dang imperfections I have on my face. I call this foundation money saver type of makeup, although I do wish they had more selection in range. I have the shade Warm Beige but it's pinch too dark for me and I can only use it when I have the craziest amount of tan that you get from going to Hawaii. Otherwise, here in Washington, I can't tan. Therefore I need a warm shade that is lighter than this... Natural beige has too much pinky tone in it, and the light beige is just way too light.... Even though when swatched it doesn't look any different! So weird! Too faced, can you create a light warm beige? For me? Maybe?
After this love of too faced shenanigans, I just went crazy with the chocolate bars. Now you have to understand, I get so lucky being introduced to these products! I had a face palette that included talc that destroyed my face in little talc bumps lol, so offer up allowed me to trade products locally with other makeup lovers. I have no idea why she didn't like the semi sweet chocolate bar, but holy moly, I fell in love!!!!!!! So much that I brought it to Hawaii trip and even used it for my vow renewal. I used it every single day and ignored the new tartlette in bloom that creased crazily on my lids :/ so uh, when the new chocolate Bon Bons came out and I had a chance to get it, yeah deals done! But guys, I think the original chocolate bar feels lonely and is calling for a new home! Should I? Should I not? Haha, I do have to say that I have tried a couple of their smaller palettes that are like 36 dollars? I don't know why, but those ones are soooo different than the chocolate bars. They were so dusty, as in, kicks up so much product, didn't last as long, and not as pigmented? But these chocolate bars are amazing! So ladies and beauties, if you don't like one thing try the other, you might be surprised!
Lastly, I was on a hunt for a peach talc free blush. You have no idea how difficult it is to find a real peach shade that isn't too orange or too pink. This is straight peach! Therefore, I will always love you, too faced flush blush. I tried their glittery bulky blush during the 21 days of beauty deal, but in the end it didn't work out :( maybe I'm just not a glitter bomb fan? But these new ones, ugh, don't get me started. I just loveeeeee the sleek packaging and the new formula. I feel like they listen to reviews on Sephora or Ulta, or even on social media sites and they just give us too faced lovers what we want!
That's the end of my too faced craziness here, these are the products that I love! Even though I tried some products that were a miss for me, these I have listed are to die for! Hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for visiting!
