The original Naked palette is one of my favorite palettes still to this day. It had fun colors, great pigmentation, and the perfect undertone for my skin tone. So it was a no brainer what I was deeply wishing for last Christmas. It is a little funny to think about because I was very indirect about wanting this palette. I left ULTA catalogs on the kitchen counter and drew a big fat circle around the NAKED3 so my husband would see it. I also saved the picture on his phone, and just kept looking at it over and over on my laptop. I don't know why but I am always drawn to pink makeup. I don't notice it that much but I wear mostly pink lipsticks in all shades. When I saw this in store, I fell in LOVE with the colors. I think the most beautiful color is the last color called Blackhearts because it's black with pink shimmer! I sometimes use Blackhearts for a smokey eyeliner. I have also come to appreciate matte finishes on eyeshadows because of Limit and Nooner.
The color "Trick" reminds me so much of MAC amber lights, which is one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows. Who doesn't love a bright golden color on their eyelids? The only downside with the first four frost finish eyeshadows is that it has so much fallout. It was difficult to pack it on the lid or for it to even stay on the brush when I was trying to pick it up. It was disappointing for me because I expect all Urban Decay eyeshadows to have the same pigmentation and ease like the first Naked Palette. As you go to the second half of the palette, that's where the Urban Decay awesomeness comes in because it's an in-your-face type of eyeshadows. So beautiful! So pigmented! So classy! It made my disappointment for the first half run for its life, because it doesn't even matter anymore. I took my spray and dampened the brush, and the problem was solved. The result? Pretty colors. On. my. lid!
Do i recommend this palette? Yes, if you don't mind working with the first few glittery eyeshadows because the end result of the colors make it so worth it. I have no other palette that is like this one, I still think its one of the unique palettes out there. Mattes, glitter, frost all in one with wonderful rose undertones. I also love to use the brush it comes with for the frost finish eyeshadows, it works very well together. This palette also come with four samples of their famous eyeshadow primers, which I have already used!
