Home decorating is one of my passions as a mama, there is something about this specific activity that just makes me so happy! There's a joyful feeling it gives when I decorate a room to create a signature that speaks our family. My husband and I both love taking photos especially for our family Christmas pictures that we take each year. This past Christmas family picture, it meant more sentimentally because it was our first Christmas picture in our new house! We are not quite finished with decorating and there is a large bare wall in our living room that we have been waiting to decorate, but wasn't sure how exactly. Family trips are something I always cherish and look forward to during school breaks or long weekends. It’s a time where we make memories so our children remember the fun moments they’ve had as a family when they were little. Of course, as the mama bear, I am always the one to pack for everyone, and I am not complaining because this Mama loves to pack! Sometimes I could unintentionally put myself least in the list of whom to pack for and forget the important things I need to pack for myself. For this family trip, I decided to pack my bag first and interestingly... I finished my packing duties a lot faster this way! Two of the most needed items whenever I travel are hoodies and comfortable socks. It's interesting to think about how something little as socks can make an impact to how our days are like. We are mostly spending our time outside when we travel and wearing the right socks is crucial to all the walking we do.

The famous quote that says time flies is always so true. I don’t feel like I turned another year older, but my birth certificate says so! Each year I get older, the less interest I have to celebrate it solely for myself... so often times I’m quite confused on what to do for this day. My family and I used to live in a wonderful neighborhood close to where we used to live in Portland, and we haven’t seen our neighbors in a while. I thought this would be a great opportunity to take the trip down there! Realizing that we could even do something like this makes me extremely thankful of the life that God has blessed me with.

This past weekend was my son's seventh birthday and he is one who LOVES monster trucks! He went to a monster jam once before with his papa a couple of years ago in Portland. This time though, the whole family attended this event and its at the Tacoma Dome. This is a fun family event that isn't one to miss and its fun for boys and girls.  Read more to see what Monster Jam has to offer!

I realized something the other day... In every season there is always a celebration. There is the Spring’s Easter, Summer BREAK from school, Fall’s thanksgiving, Winter’s Christmas and finally the one upcoming soon... Valentine’s day! I love Valentine’s Day not because it’s the only day to show love of course, but it is a day to show that love in the cutest ways. It’s especially fun for kids and as a parent... that literally is just one of many ways to melt our hearts! Kids love creative and adorable things. We do not have to spend much for Valentine’s decorations because the dollar store is the best place for it.
