Seahawks love is all over the cities here in Washington, and what used to be a supporting gesture on Friday games, it became a supporting gesture EVERY Friday, game or not. Some people even wear it every Friday all year long. That's some awesome love there, I wish I had enough jerseys for all the family to do that but with kids, that is just impossible. Maybe I should find random Seahawks shirts that are easily washed, haha! The cutest discovery when visiting Sugar Babies here in Sumner for Jujube bags comes across the most adorable little tutu ever for our younger fans!
With creativity flowing... it's always an adventure embedded in children's mind. Art, music, even math! Eureka math anyone? At first I didn't agree with the change of how math is taught... over the course of these two weeks I can clearly see why they have chosen to teach math this way. We are pretty much learning together and I am actually very interested in how this progresses. In a very mathematical kind of imagination, I see genius kids in the making. Forget memorization, it's time to create a pathway to the answer! Besides all that, there are set guidelines on what they learn in school, they each have their own personalities and skills that they hold to their own. A fun creative learning style they have is "free" seating. On the floor, in the corner, with new classmates... I have to admit when I'm comfortable, I work better!
Jujube in Action ? What an eventful day yesterday at the Washington State Fair ! It was a LONG and tiring, but fun day for our family. The Jujube Be Sporty was my choice of bag and it was AWESOME! I don't own any stroller clips and I probably will never since my youngest is already three. The versatility of this bag allowed me to use one of the seatbelt backpack strap to act as a "stroller belt" since it's just a flat simple strap! If i need to carry as a backpack, I just attach it back and go. I even used the backpack strap as a quick messenger when I needed to carry it on a ride and so on. Jujube and Tokidoki have created a wonderful bag for us mamas and I can't be anymore proud!
Now that school life has started, I've been in super mommy mode super EARLY everyday making sure these kids have the energy source they need throughout the day. One thing for sure though, so glad we have these 9 oz reusable water bottles for EZ boy, it's not too big to fit in his lunch pail because we all know the less things these kindergarteners should carry the better! It is a proven fact that if I store it anywhere else than his lunch pail, it will not be brought to the cafeteria. I think this size is so perfect for our little ones, it won't be too heavy for them to carry! This can be used hot or cold and will stay that way for hours! I own a 17 oz, and I always leave it on my nightstand... it will still be cold then next morning. Is it the bottle or is it because I live in the Pacific Northwest? Haha! Either way, it's pretty awesome.
Jujube has been on an awesome roll lately with all their new products like all their accessories... This one is no exception! With a brand new style called the Be Sporty, Kaiju City is the perfect print to start things off. I have a few tokidoki brand bags myself that are not in collaboration with Jujube, and the straps on the Be Sporty are very alike. I love the solid print on the straps on the tokidoki bags and I am ecstatic that Jujube has designed the be sporty to have that same solid ones. Jujube always design the best types of bag and whenever they collab with the super kawaii brand, it is always perfection. Not to mention, who doesn't love those tokidoki zipper styles and their silver hardware? Uh yes, please!
The school year has started and it's time for those busy routines that we are very familiar with. Those summer days are gone when we can just sleep in and not worry about time and homework! As a parent, of course a new year is filled with new worries especially for a kindergartener. It's a new school with new friends and teachers... it can be a little scary!
Mileina is a VERY girly girl who just loves fairies, princess dresses, and anything that describes pretty. She won't wear clothing that doesn't scream "girl" such as her older brother's hand me downs. Hey, they still look new but they are very boy colors. Somehow... She just knows... that they aren't cute. When Donutella's sweet shop came out, it was no question whether she would love it or not. It's pink, it's sweet, it's pastel, it's Mimi. Funny thing is... as girly as she is, she loves playing with action figures, cars, trucks, and whatever else she can "borrow" from her brother's room.
LET'S BE FRIENDS!
