My family and I visited Leavenworth to attend one of their Lighting festival a couple weeks ago. I've always been intrigued by this area, mostly because my parents come here every year during Christmas time a few years after I got married. The drive was about three hours from where we lived, and of course it was snowing the closer we got to Leavenworth. It was such a beautiful drive up there, sightseeing the beautiful mountains and trees covered in snow. The trees even had icicles on them! We drove in our Suburban and of course it has four wheel drive, but if you do not have a four wheel drive... BRING CHAINS! There is a sheriff during the drive up to the mountains that will stop cars and require them to put chains up ahead. There were many areas where cars can stop and put chains on their wheels. I loved that the policeman were there to ensure safety for everyone. Even though the drive was far, it was so amazing to finally witness the Lighting Festival! They literally had Christmas lights EVERYWHERE! Trees, in front of the shops, bushes, gazebo, and anywhere else you can think of... they were all decorated with Christmas lights.
As a mom of three kids, a YouTuber, and a blogger... things can get busy real quick having this lifestyle. I love my life and everything I do, but things can get south if they are not planned and organized. When things go south, that's when it gets messy and stress knocks at your door! For example, these next couple of weeks is filled with events such as video planning, writing blogs, my daughter's birthday, Christmas shopping, AND Christmas! I always, always write down blog priorities, events, and appointments for the month to keep my family and my life sane and organized. Year 2016 is almost over and my blue sky planner has come to its end. I'm ready for 2017, and Start Planner, who I named Donutini, will have my back for the coming year.
Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you will have an amazing Christmas with your family. I love this time of year because Christmas is about remembering what our Savior, Jesus Christ has done for all of us. He died on the cross to take ALL our sins. We are forgiven because of Him. Welcome to my compilation of Christmas cards I've made from adobe photoshop. I LOVE photoshop, creating, designing in general so making Christmas cards from my laptop was never a surprise. They may be simple, and definitely not extravagant, but these came from my heart! I love you all and Merry Christmas!
Kanga Care is notorious for having the best cloth diapers in the cutest prints! I've used the fuzzibunz, blueberry, and rumparooz when my kids were babies. Now that my youngest is going through the potty training stage, I'm so glad we are presented with the opportunity to test drive this Lil Learnerz training pants in partnership with The Sensible Mama.
The Elf on the Shelf is a popular Christmas tradition that we started in 2013! My oldest daughter was just four years and my son was two. My husband actually found this and decided to pick it up and I must say that I am so glad that he did because the elf is so much fun and we love seeing the reactions in our children's faces when they find their elf at a new place!
