My son loves being outside and just enjoying the nature of our backyard. He finds all these cool pathways that he LOVES to show everybody. Since it's getting warm outside, I try my best to spend the two hours with him if I didn't have any chores or cooking to do while the little one is napping. He is an amazing little boy who has a lot of energy, so what better way than to let Go, Diego, Go show his mommy his favorite hidden trails. Afterwards we had a little ice cream because it was so hot! Have you tried Dreyers limited edition Red Velvet ice cream? Super delicious cake in ice cream mode.
I'm seeing a little tan on him because of our little adventures, and maybe sort of kind of a little tan on me too. I need to start thinking of fun things to do with the kids once school is out because there is no way my kids are staying inside for the whole day everyday for months. There will be summer camps and I'm interested in signing EZ up for the Superhero Camp! I need to find out how much it is. They also have a full day for my eldest daughter which is good for her since she gets oh, so bored.
I definitely love being a stay at home mom, I get to see my kids grow up. The bonding time definitely means a lot to me because growing up my parents both worked and was very busy, which is normal and expected of life. I am just very thankful we get the chance to have me be a stay at home mom. Although it's not always fun and games, that's very obvious! A routine is very helpful to have our days run smoothly, but of course it still does not diminish frustrations. I have my fair share of frustrations, so it's always nice when I have "me" time which is my vanity room! Haha!
The thing is, all the frustrations are worth it when my little sweet son (and my sweet daughters) giives me flowers that he hand picked alllllllll by himself. What a gentleman!
