It's somewhat easy and difficult to just plan a little outdoor session with my kids. Easy in the sense that it's just a little day out at the park to enjoy the sun, but difficult to pack and plan for it. Gotta love parent life, there is never a dull moment! I'm sharing my must have items for a day out in the sun to help moms like it make it easier to plan for activities. Less is more! But honestly though, even it is less items that we bring, it somehow feels like a lot? What do you think?
HELP YOUR KIDS TO THINK BEFORE THEY SPEAK WITH A SIMPLE FELT LETTER BOARD IN THEIR ROOM & A DEVOTIONAL BOOK JUST FOR KIDS. THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS.
As a parent, we know and understand that little children will often speak out of turn due to their immediate reaction towards certain things. We often do it ourselves when our patience flies out the door. Sometimes I look back in my. own childhood and remember certain disciplinary actions from my own parents that still stands true today and will stand in generations to come. Not all disciplinary practices only happen after a mishap, but can be prevented and taught by taking the time each day to read a good word. I have always been a reader as a young girl and I believe that reading is the most important way to instill messages in our children's thought process. Reading takes time and effort. It also requires a long attention span that will help with discipline and patience.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN COMFORT WITH PACKING SOME BAMBOO SOCKS DURING YOUR TRAVEL! THANKS TO MD SHAPER FOR SPONSORING THIS POST.
Family trips are something I always cherish and look forward to during school breaks or long weekends. It’s a time where we make memories so our children remember the fun moments they’ve had as a family when they were little. Of course, as the mama bear, I am always the one to pack for everyone, and I am not complaining because this Mama loves to pack! Sometimes I could unintentionally put myself least in the list of whom to pack for and forget the important things I need to pack for myself. For this family trip, I decided to pack my bag first and interestingly... I finished my packing duties a lot faster this way! Two of the most needed items whenever I travel are hoodies and comfortable socks. It's interesting to think about how something little as socks can make an impact to how our days are like. We are mostly spending our time outside when we travel and wearing the right socks is crucial to all the walking we do.
TAKE THE TIME TO RELAX AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. THANKS TO BEBE AU LAIT FOR SPONSORING THIS POST!
Don’t you just love those lazy days, especially after an eventful week or month? I know I do! I love taking a full day of relaxation with no agenda whatsoever on our plate. A quiet morning, seeing the kids sleep in, realize I also slept in, and the house is actually in order was actually a nice start of today. Friends, I had my coffee today in complete comfort and silence! I took a peek in my daughter’s room this morning and found her so at peace. I can’t help but thank God for who He is to provide this life for us and the safety He gives my family. Today we are taking a long needed rest day with Bebe Au Lait Toddler Snuggle Blanket and the girls' favorite Christmas presents... Sailor Moon Plush Dolls!
It's true that with faith, hope, and love that love is the most important of all because without love... faith and hope cannot live without the means. I have been with my best friend for twelve years now and if you have been married, you know that there are stories that define two people who choose to love one another time and time again. It speaks actions of forgiveness, selflessness, and the will to act on God's grace to one another. Here we are on our twelfth year anniversary and I still long for him when he's away, I still yearn for his presence because God speaks only truth when He said we are no longer two, but one. The future is never an exact picture, and while I will never know how long I will be blessed to breathe the air on this earth... I do know some exact things. With that said, "I can't promise I'll be here for the rest of your life, but I can promise that I'll love you from the rest of mine." I can't wait until our 25th year Anniversary, you can bet that we would further this tradition of our anniversary photograph! Also, as someone who loves to express love with words, this felt board is sure to please! Read more to see my tips to organize your letters using a beads organizer, plus a little unboxing of the new Pinky Promise by Felt Letter Boards.
I’m sure you’ve all seen the beautiful felt Letter boards around lately! They generate creativity, thought process, and are very welcoming. I don’t know about you, but when I see other people’s letter boards, you get a little glimpse of who they are as a person. Not only that, but these are amazing for each season and every event. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, summer, and even birthdays... or anniversaries! It’s a beautiful touch to an already beautiful gesture or celebration. For example, this rusty red is next to our family Christmas tree to tell a story of the great Gift that was born to us! Read more to see more pictures of my unboxing or different colors!
Is there a time when my carpet or kitchen floor ever clean? YES, for like ten minutes tops, then every crumb breaks loose. Last time I checked, snack times are twice a day, and not every hour! If you have multiple kids like me, ahem, three under the age of ten... (gulp), then you know that it is impossible to have a squeaky clean, or better yet, a crumb-free house. I'm going to get real personal here, moms and dads. I have two brooms, two dustpans, and one small set for small areas. When I say small areas, I mean like small dirty spots in MANY areas. All of my brooms are loved, as in... they get used a lot throughout the day. Being a stay at home mom is awesome in many ways, but if I'm going to be completely honest and personal, sweeping messes, gets old, FAST. Not to mention, at times my back would cry. Fast forward a few years later since becoming a mom of three, technology has advanced and its got my back, LITERALLY. Are you jumping for joy yet? because for the last few weeks of mommying, I haven't picked up a vacuum. I'm here to share you my secret.
