What a wonderful time it is when we vacation with our children. It's joy, its wonder, and it's magic! On our second Disneyland visit, we hopped on over to California Adventure to have a what seemed to be a more relaxed Disney visit. Speaking of visits, we found Mickey! Since we were super prepared with our Autograph books, the kids was able to receive a few autographs from their favorite Disney characters! I have to say though, Mimi only wanted a picture with Minnie Mouse. If it's not Minnie Mouse, there will be a frown! Ha!
Disneyland is definitely a must during our Road Trip To California spring break! We have planned for two days of Disney magical fun. Both my husband and I have not been here since we were youngens, so this was a new and fun experience for all of us! We also believed that our kids are the perfect age to enjoy most attractions in exception of Mimi who might be a bit short.
During our Spring break trip... you know, between all the Disneyland hopping, Legoland exploring, and all the sightseeing, we were able to visit the beach at least once. Okay, so it WASN'T swimsuit and tanning friendly type of beach day but we totally made the most of it. Luckily, there was a playground for our kiddos to enjoy. I love how the Seal Beach has so many climbing type of play structures because my children love, love, LOVE to climb.
Ahh.... Spring break! The time when time and worries no longer applies. Sunshine and exploring with the family is everything I could ask for after a long hiatus of sun in the Washington state. Something about California just makes my heart so happy! Our first stop in our spring break was San Fransisco and of course we would have to visit the Golden Gate Bride!
I am a full house fan to the max. I watched that show like my life depended on it. There was no way that we could visit San Fransisco without visiting the Painted Ladies. The intro of the full house is such a fun and engaging introduction to their fun sitcom. The ending of the introduction ended in this Alamo park right here where I am sitting... and to the back of the Tanner family was these beautiful painted ladies homes!
One of the perks of having a travel trailer or an RV is that you can skip the hotels and its cost! This was something I didn't realize when we got our travel trailer. I love having our home away from home and it definitely feels like HOME in different places. Our first stay of our Spring Break 2017 was near San Fransisco at Petaluma KOA. We didn't get to do much in this KOA because we were always on the go, but there were lots of cool things that we saw such as Petting Zoo, an outdoor bouncy house, a pool, and probably so much more! The one thing that my children were able to experience was the playground they had. It was nicely built with challenges that kids enjoy, but also, very safe!
LET'S BE FRIENDS!
