Creating an office is always possible even if you don't have a dedicated room specifically for your office. It could be in a corner of your bedroom or in the living room. This office corner is actually in an art/studio room and it is dedicated only for planning and "office" needs, if I may. The items that I'm sharing today is affordable depending on how you look at it. I am using two full size Billy bookcase from Ikea, and one single size in the middle to create a corner behind my office desk to organize anything I may need without taking much room. These bookcases are extremely simple to build, take it from me, the most clumsiest person in the world...
Don’t you just love those lazy days, especially after an eventful week or month? I know I do! I love taking a full day of relaxation with no agenda whatsoever on our plate. A quiet morning, seeing the kids sleep in, realize I also slept in, and the house is actually in order was actually a nice start of today. Friends, I had my coffee today in complete comfort and silence! I took a peek in my daughter’s room this morning and found her so at peace. I can’t help but thank God for who He is to provide this life for us and the safety He gives my family. Today we are taking a long needed rest day with Bebe Au Lait Toddler Snuggle Blanket and the girls' favorite Christmas presents... Sailor Moon Plush Dolls!
It's true that with faith, hope, and love that love is the most important of all because without love... faith and hope cannot live without the means. I have been with my best friend for twelve years now and if you have been married, you know that there are stories that define two people who choose to love one another time and time again. It speaks actions of forgiveness, selflessness, and the will to act on God's grace to one another. Here we are on our twelfth year anniversary and I still long for him when he's away, I still yearn for his presence because God speaks only truth when He said we are no longer two, but one. The future is never an exact picture, and while I will never know how long I will be blessed to breathe the air on this earth... I do know some exact things. With that said, "I can't promise I'll be here for the rest of your life, but I can promise that I'll love you from the rest of mine." I can't wait until our 25th year Anniversary, you can bet that we would further this tradition of our anniversary photograph! Also, as someone who loves to express love with words, this felt board is sure to please! Read more to see my tips to organize your letters using a beads organizer, plus a little unboxing of the new Pinky Promise by Felt Letter Boards.
I’m sure you’ve all seen the beautiful felt Letter boards around lately! They generate creativity, thought process, and are very welcoming. I don’t know about you, but when I see other people’s letter boards, you get a little glimpse of who they are as a person. Not only that, but these are amazing for each season and every event. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, summer, and even birthdays... or anniversaries! It’s a beautiful touch to an already beautiful gesture or celebration. For example, this rusty red is next to our family Christmas tree to tell a story of the great Gift that was born to us! Read more to see more pictures of my unboxing or different colors!
Elf on the shelf is a fun month long activity to do for the kids, but it can be a bit cumbersome to think of new things for the Elf. What I find most enjoyable is seeing the kids reactions to what the silly elf is doing! This year, our elf, Sandy, arrived in his little sled into a snowy ground of a white Christmas.
Not only is it the most wonderful time of the year, but it is also the brightest and merriest. Remember that target haul I had a couple of weeks back? You know, the one where I ransacked the dollar spot? Well, I must say I love the result of it! Those bottle brush Christmas trees, the reindeer, and the ceramic tree... I am in love! The best part of it is that whole it looks super festive, it doesn’t break the wallet!
There is something about lofts that we love. Since the kids bedrooms are upstairs, we knew that the loft would be a play area for the children which leads to one specific thing this Christmas - This area would turn into a fun Christmas corner in this time of year. We definitely did not spend anything extra for this area, but we used what we already had and put a little Christmas spirit - on a budget!
