I remember when I was a little girl, I have always loved the waters and would frequently visit the lakes, rivers, and beaches just to be close by it. There is something about the waters that is so calming and pleasant to be around. I told myself that one of my life goals is to own a beach house so I can live by the waters indefinitely. Of course you know that didn't happen but there is another way to halfway meet my life goal! The travel trailer is a nice way to live by the waters on vacations and family trips. This area here that I'm sharing with you today is called the Quinault RV Marina Park and it's located right next to the beach in Ocean Shores, WA.
After Ocean Shores, we headed up north to Port Angeles! Elwha RV Park was a quick stop on our way to Victoria, Canada but this park was such a pleasant surprise. We knew that we were going to do our laundry in this place since the website said they had laundry facilities but WOW. More on that later! I think there was only one way to get to this place from Ocean Shores and we kind of got stuck on the road for more than thirty minutes. It felt like it was hours though. They had construction and it closed for an hour past the time they said it was going to reopen. It's kind of nice just to drive along the coast because the view is beautiful and if I may share, we went through Forks, WA and visited Bella's truck from Twilight!
Ocean Shores is quickly becoming a favorite family getaway. There's something about small towns that just feels like a second home, you know? This would be our second Spring visit here and we loved it both times! It's along the shores of the beautiful Washington state and it is a nice and relaxing place to visit during Spring and Summer. This year, we got a chance to explore more of what the town has to offer!

Spring break is what we look forward to in the middle of the school year. It's a time where we can forget about our responsibilities at work or at home. It's a time when we can enjoy a full week with our kids without worrying about bedtime! It doesn't mean that we as parents get more time to do absolutely nothing because in reality we end up doing much more on vacations and trips. The only reason that makes all our planning and hard work worth it is the memories that we will be making as a family and to fully enjoy time with our kids during Spring break. This spring break, we are going on a road trip and I'll be sharing some tips and tricks to make the journey on a road with kids run smoothly.
One of the things I love doing with my littlest is to find new playgrounds to visit. This is my last year before she heads to full day kindergarten so what better way than to explore! These moments go by so quickly that sometimes we forget to just take the time to cherish them. If you are in the area and looking for fun and free places that your children can enjoy, this playground at Frontier Park located near South Puyallup, WA is not one to miss. Read more to see the play structure!
TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN COMFORT WITH PACKING SOME BAMBOO SOCKS DURING YOUR TRAVEL! THANKS TO MD SHAPER FOR SPONSORING THIS POST.
Family trips are something I always cherish and look forward to during school breaks or long weekends. It’s a time where we make memories so our children remember the fun moments they’ve had as a family when they were little. Of course, as the mama bear, I am always the one to pack for everyone, and I am not complaining because this Mama loves to pack! Sometimes I could unintentionally put myself least in the list of whom to pack for and forget the important things I need to pack for myself. For this family trip, I decided to pack my bag first and interestingly... I finished my packing duties a lot faster this way! Two of the most needed items whenever I travel are hoodies and comfortable socks. It's interesting to think about how something little as socks can make an impact to how our days are like. We are mostly spending our time outside when we travel and wearing the right socks is crucial to all the walking we do.
