I remember when I was a little girl, I have always loved the waters and would frequently visit the lakes, rivers, and beaches just to be close by it. There is something about the waters that is so calming and pleasant to be around. I told myself that one of my life goals is to own a beach house so I can live by the waters indefinitely. Of course you know that didn't happen but there is another way to halfway meet my life goal! The travel trailer is a nice way to live by the waters on vacations and family trips. This area here that I'm sharing with you today is called the Quinault RV Marina Park and it's located right next to the beach in Ocean Shores, WA.
After Ocean Shores, we headed up north to Port Angeles! Elwha RV Park was a quick stop on our way to Victoria, Canada but this park was such a pleasant surprise. We knew that we were going to do our laundry in this place since the website said they had laundry facilities but WOW. More on that later! I think there was only one way to get to this place from Ocean Shores and we kind of got stuck on the road for more than thirty minutes. It felt like it was hours though. They had construction and it closed for an hour past the time they said it was going to reopen. It's kind of nice just to drive along the coast because the view is beautiful and if I may share, we went through Forks, WA and visited Bella's truck from Twilight!
Ocean Shores is quickly becoming a favorite family getaway. There's something about small towns that just feels like a second home, you know? This would be our second Spring visit here and we loved it both times! It's along the shores of the beautiful Washington state and it is a nice and relaxing place to visit during Spring and Summer. This year, we got a chance to explore more of what the town has to offer!
WE ATTENDED THIS EVENT AS A FAMILY FELD AMBASSADOR, ALL FUN FACTOR AND THOUGHTS IS OUR OWN!
This past weekend was my son's seventh birthday and he is one who LOVES monster trucks! He went to a monster jam once before with his papa a couple of years ago in Portland. This time though, the whole family attended this event and its at the Tacoma Dome. This is a fun family event that isn't one to miss and its fun for boys and girls. Read more to see what Monster Jam has to offer!
It's the best time of the year again! My family and I love the cold and the snow, which surprised us on a beautiful Sunday morning. It was like Elsa and her friends gave us a hint the previous day on what's coming to our neighborhood. Every year we attend the show and every year the kids always enjoy it! We attended the Disney On Ice: Follow Your Heart event in Kent at the ShoWare center and it was an amazing show with all of my kids' favorite characters. Read more to see some fun pictures of our time there!
Weekends are made for families, sunshine was created to give us Light during said weekend, and ducks were made to impress our children! Our Saturday has filled me with such gratitude that I just sit here and think, How great is our God to create this wonderful world for all of us to enjoy!
My family and I visited Leavenworth to attend one of their Lighting festival a couple weeks ago. I've always been intrigued by this area, mostly because my parents come here every year during Christmas time a few years after I got married. The drive was about three hours from where we lived, and of course it was snowing the closer we got to Leavenworth. It was such a beautiful drive up there, sightseeing the beautiful mountains and trees covered in snow. The trees even had icicles on them! We drove in our Suburban and of course it has four wheel drive, but if you do not have a four wheel drive... BRING CHAINS! There is a sheriff during the drive up to the mountains that will stop cars and require them to put chains up ahead. There were many areas where cars can stop and put chains on their wheels. I loved that the policeman were there to ensure safety for everyone. Even though the drive was far, it was so amazing to finally witness the Lighting Festival! They literally had Christmas lights EVERYWHERE! Trees, in front of the shops, bushes, gazebo, and anywhere else you can think of... they were all decorated with Christmas lights.
LET'S BE FRIENDS!
